There are subtle differences in the design, note the rounded backrest, no visible screws on the seat & back, the front streacher is lower & bigger.

Kallenbach’s Furniture

John Tabraham was the designer of choice for many premium South African furniture manufacturers during the 1950s and 60s.

Tabraham is most recognised for his work with top end furniture maker Kallenbach. The furniture was highly desirable during the 1960s and 70s. It was sold through exclusive stores like Prosperitas in Pretoria.
